Kate used to be a ski technician in the days of the Star War ski boots...... her life was filled with drilling holes in the right places in hundreds of hire skis, edging, waxing and of course other peoples feet!She was once so engrossed in her waxing that she got snowed in and had to be rescued by the military...
Now she has the more sedate role of training and assessing the RQF certificated courses that are included in the fortnight long Advanced Chalet Host course. She also tutors and supports the online courses that Ski Vie offer.
Kate is a qualified tutor trainer, assessor and internal verifier. She has been teaching large classes of candidates and tutoring and mentoring trainer assessors all around the world for a vast number of years and is expert in course building and logistics.
She is the go-to person for ski support and all things admin.
